You will be graded on a point system this school year.  There are a total of 100 points daily which consists of:

  1. Maintaining an organized notebook.
  2. ACT/EOC Math Prep Classwork.
  3. ACT/EOC ELA Prep Classwork.
  4. Completing Assignments.
  5. Following directions.

At the end of the nine weeks, I will compile your points and this will be your grade for my class.  BEWARE: I will take away points for not completing your assignments after giving several days to complete it.

**Also it is never too early or too late to start thinking about what you would like to do after high school.  I strongly encourage you to talk with your parents and friends to find out what kinds of jobs are out in the world.

 Please remember the following:

“School is a serious place.  You go to school to study, work, and produce – just like in an adult workplace.  School is where you go to learn skills that help make you a productive citizen and grow to your fullest potential as a human being.”

Good luck and we are going to have a great year!!
